Privacy Policy

• Contact details: your name, email address, mobile phone number and mailing address.
• Identity and driver information: date of birth, driver's license number, state and expiration date, and photos of your license and a selfie that you upload so we can verify your identity.
• Rental and payment records: the vehicles you rent, rental agreements and signatures, payment history, and rent-to-own progress. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe's secure pages. We do not see or store your full card or bank account number.
• Account and usage data: your login details, and basic technical data such as browser type and IP address when you use the site.
• Communications: messages you send us, and your text-message consent choices.

• To verify your identity and eligibility, prepare rental agreements, and manage your rental.
• To process payments, send receipts, and track progress on rent-to-own plans.
• To send service messages about your account, such as payment reminders, payment confirmations, past-due notices and rent-to-own milestone updates, by email and, if you opt in, by text message.
• To respond to your questions, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal and insurance requirements.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

If you opt in, we send text messages about your rental account: payment reminders, payment confirmations, past-due notices and rent-to-own progress updates. You opt in by checking the text-alert box in your customer dashboard. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of renting from us.

Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing. We use a messaging provider (Twilio) only to deliver our messages.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by unchecking the box in your dashboard. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed to provide their service:

• Stripe, to process card and bank payments.
• Twilio and Resend, to deliver text messages and emails.
• UploadThing and our hosting and database providers, to store the documents and data you provide.
• Insurers, professional advisers, and law enforcement or courts when we are required to, or need to protect our rights, our customers or the public (for example after an accident, theft or violation).

If MRG is sold or reorganized, customer information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services and for legal, tax, insurance and dispute-resolution purposes. Identity documents are kept only as long as they are needed for those purposes.

We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or opt out of text messages, by contacting us below. We may need to keep some records where the law or an active rental requires it.

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy. We will change the “last updated” date above when we do.
